Welcome- Meet the School Counselor

Hello Weston Families! My name is Frank Martinez and I am your site school counselor! I started my educational career at Modesto Junior College before transferring over to St. Mary's College of California for both my Bachelor's in History and Master's in Counseling Psychology with a School Counseling concentration. 

 

I am committed to encouraging, supporting and empowering our students to become their best selves. My goal is to help all students develop a love for learning by providing a comprehensive and data driven counseling program that meets their academic, personal/social, career and college dreams. I meet with students individually, small groups, and conduct social emotional lessons to create a safe school environment. As the counselor, I have the privilege of providing support to every student at Weston Elementary and I thank you for your support. I look forward to our collaboration throughout the school year.
