We are building back our academic routines this week with a full week of instruction and programs getting started. Art, Music and Band lessons all start this week.
Students in grades 4th-8th that are interested in playing a musical instrument should plan to attend the Elementary Music Night this week on Weds. 8/19 at Park View Elementary, 6pm to gain information about the music program and instrument rentals.
Students in grades 4th-8th will have PE class this week and have a signed form to return to their teacher on Tuesday. Students in grades 7th-8th should have PE clothes that they wear to school and then change out of those PE clothes into regular school clothes once PE class is over. 7th graders wear PE clothes to school and then change out after PE class is over which is right before lunch at 12:30pm. 8th graders change INTO their PE clothes just before lunch at 12:25 and have PE class after lunch. Once PE class is done at 2:00pm, they will change back into school clothes. It is our hope that students TAKE HOME all PE clothes after use since we do not have lockers for their clothes at school.
