Due:
Utopian Community
Project
Project Overview Before reading The Giver,
you will design your own utopian community — an ideally perfect society. Think
about what would make your community a place where people feel safe, happy, and
fulfilled. What would be special about your community that would make others
want to live there?
You will create a written and illustrated description of
your utopia. The project will be completed mostly in class and should take
about 7–8 hours total.
